![]() It seems impossible to believe how much time has passed since Peter died so suddenly on 1st March 2006 and for me, and I am sure many others, life can never be the same again. It is a process of readjusting and learning to live life in a different way without a very special person.
Following the wonderful memorial service held at Chelsea FC many tributes were paid to his skills as both a top class footballer and a truly genuine man. He was a real character with the ability to make you feel as though you were his best friend even if you had only just met and it seemed only right that there should be a lasting tribute to his memory reflecting the love and affection he received. It is the aim of the Trust to create positive benefits for those youngsters who need a helping hand along the way. We shall work closely with Football in the Community programmes identifying areas of need and I am sure that Peter would be enormously proud of this recognition. We are extremely fortunate to have Lord Cadogan as President of the Trust, and with the wonderful services of Lawrie McMenemy, Peter Bonetti and many others included on the Board of Directors as Trustees, I am sure this will be a successful project. Thank you for visiting this site which is currently in the process of being developed and I do hope you will be able to support the Trust in the future. With love and best wishes,
Peter Osgood
