![]() Welcome to the Peter Osgood Trust website and thank you for your interest and for taking the time to see what we do. The Trust has been established to provide grants to help youngsters who suffer from a disability, be it physical or social, to enjoy the sport that Peter so loved.
Football is such a great medium and can be enjoyed by all children regardless of age and ability – a great way to build team spirit and confidence, thereby creating a positive experience for those not as fortunate as most. As a child Peter loved kicking a ball around and it is the aim of the Trust to bring a little pleasure by helping clubs, societies, small charities and organisations who care for disadvantaged youngsters by providing grants to help them fulfil their potential in football. Peter was a fantastic individual, unique in both his skills on the football pitch and well loved off the pitch for his charisma and welcoming personality. Known as the King of Stamford Bridge the final tribute to his memory was the unveiling of a statue at Chelsea FC on 1st October 2010. Please support the Trust in any way you can, by attending our fundraising events, donating to the charity, spreading the word or purchasing one of the unique prints that will soon be available on the site.We have now raised a sum of money which enables us to invite applications for grants and we look forward to making a difference in memory of ‘Ossie’. With very best wishes, ![]()
